
Alice M Hunter ARNP is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who has worked with Dr. Allen at Central Florida Cancer Institute since January 2010. She was born and raised in the Chicago area and has volunteered personally and professionally throughout her life. She is an active member of multiple Nursing and Urology organizations. Alice’s Board Certification in “Family Practice” allows her to care for people of all ages. She is experienced in the treatment of problems related to Urology including urinary tract infections, incontinence, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, benign prostate problems (BPH) and the various urologic cancers including that of the prostate and bladder. She began her nursing career in 1981 graduating with honors with each of her degrees. She graduated Sigma Theta Tau from the University of Illinois and was selected as the graduation speaker after earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. Her Post Master’s certificate as a Nurse practitioner is from University of South Florida in Tampa. Alice has extensive and varied nursing experience. She has worked in the office setting with Urology and family practice patients; as a nursing professor in the college setting; in hospitals caring for critically ill patients and in home care as well as college health. Alice’s goal is to help the patient to achieve their maximum level of wellness and she looks forward to serving people in our offices.
