OUR PHYSICIANS
Central Florida Cancer Institute physicians are board certified oncology specialists. Each of our physicians have completed medical school and then continued with internship and residency training in their specialty. Each physician is board certified in Radiation Oncology. They remain in the the forefront of their field through ongoing research, teaching, and continuing medical education.

OUR NURSES AND RADIATION THERAPISTS
Our nurses and radiation therapists are an important part of your healthcare team. They have received specialized training and are knowledgeable regarding treatment regimens, side effects, and they are proficient in radiation oncology. The nursing staff is aware of needs and fears of both patient and families and is comfortable discussing all aspects of care. They work closely with your physician in order to deliver optimal care and are in a key position to provide for the complex needs of patients.

Stacy Ennis, RN, has an AS degree in nursing and has worked in the medical field for 18 years. She is Chemotherapy / Biotherapy certified and a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). She worked in Oncology in Winter Haven prior to coming to CFCI in October 2008.

Michele Jolly (R)(T), RT, MBA, has 14 years Radiation Oncology experience; she is Board Certified and has been an ARRT member since 1990. Michele is Central Florida Cancer Institute administrator. She has an AS degree in Radiation Therapy, a Bachelor of Atts and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Gina Scheck (R)(T), RT, has 23 years Radiation Oncology experience, she is Board Certified and has been an ARRT member since 1977. She is a certified Technologist in Radiology and in Radiation Therapy.

Jill Smeal, RTT has 15 years experience. Graduated from HIllsborough Community College in 1991 with an AS degree in Radiation Therapy. Has been a member of the ARRT/ASRT since 2002.

Ken Schilling, RT (R)(T) He is board certified, and licensed by the state of Louisiana and the State of Florida as both a therapist and a radiographer. He has been an ARRT member since 2005.

Cheryl Lemke R.T. (R)(T), is a board certified Radiation Therapist and Radiology Technologist and is licensed by the States of Florida, Texas, and Minnesota. She has 16 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist and graduated from the University of Minnesota. She has been an ARRT/ASRT member since 1991.

OUR PHYSICISTS AND DOSIMETRISTS

Ilham Kanna, M.S., Medical Physicist

Claude Whitehead is board certified in Medical Dosimetry. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in Radiological Science. He has over 20 years experience working with radiation, with the last 13 years being dedicated to Radiation Therapy. From 1993 – 2001 he worked as a Dosimetrist responsible for all teletherapy treatment planning.

LABORATORY TECHNOLOGISTS
Testing is done in our laboratory utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Specially trained lab personnel perform the tests, and the results can be discussed with your physician during your visit.

PATIENT REPRESENTATIVES
We have insurance and reimbursement specialists on our staff that will consult with you regarding payment plans, reimbursement, or any other financial concerns that you may have.

PATIENT COORDINATORS
We have a superior front office staff dedicated to the smooth patient flow in our facility. They are available to consult with patients regarding any insurance concerns, scheduling, or referrals that patients may need.
